Christa Clark
CREATIVE STRATEGIST
CORE VALUES: Compassion, Bravery, Creativity, Authenticity, Reciprocity
I’m Momentum’s new creative strategist, digital product designer, and systems thinker based in Austin, Texas. For more than 12 years I've designed digital products, brands, and experiences—from enterprise software and Fortune 500 initiatives to early-stage startups tackling climate change and social impact.
Throughout my career, I've been drawn to work that creates measurable, positive change. I've helped design AI systems that reduce oil spills, digital tools for algae bioreactors, enterprise carbon accounting platforms, and community-driven applications that mobilize people to take local action. Whether designing software or building brands, I've always believed design is more than aesthetics, it's a tool for shaping the future.
Growing up in Austin instilled a lifelong appreciation for community, creativity, and the natural world. That perspective has shaped both my professional work and my life outside of it. Alongside my design practice within the corporate realm, I've championed local initiatives focused on food justice and resource redistribution, including hosting the ATX Free Fridge in my neighborhood and organizing community workshops centered around repair, reuse, and sustainability.
I love solving complex design problems. But these days I'm especially interested in projects that bridge technology, sustainability, and community—work that helps people live better while restoring the ecosystems we depend on.
When I'm away from my computer, you'll usually find me upcycling vintage textiles, tending a garden of native plants, hosting a community event, or dreaming up ways for us all to work better together.
I believe the products we design become part of the world we all share. If we're lucky enough to build something, we should build something worth leaving behind. Looking forward to the magic I’ll get to create with Momentum!

Working with Christa isn't like work. It's creative flow! Her passionate energy and impressive knowledge bank have wrapped me into an invigorating and reciprocating process that engages my mind and spirit. I want to come back to work after every meeting, class, or jam session. She is, undeniably, one of the best people I've worked with.
While she has built and taught courses with us before this latest project has truly been awe inspiring. She brings to our meetings sensible guidance while not losing the luster for her craft. She is adamant about education and demands nothing less than what she and the team is capable of delivering. She's earnest, fair, forthright, and kind as she does it. I've truly enjoyed learning from her and creating with her.

She is very knowledgeable and can execute any project and learn new techniques that will help her accomplish the task at hand. She is very determined in expanding her knowledge and becoming a better designer and leader. She has great task management skills and can manage multiple projects at once.

Leadership is often revealed in the moments when emotions run high. A critical email, an unexpected setback, or a shifting priority can trigger an immediate reaction. The most effective leaders learn to pause, process, and respond with intention. In that space between stimulus and response lies the power to build trust and lead with maturity.
