Margot’s Core Values are: Listening, Learning and Loyalty
Margot Hayler is a highly skilled executive consultant, coach and program leader. She has consistently demonstrated that well tuned listening, and responsible communication, dramatically impact bottom line business results. Through listening and coaching, Margot empowers people to produce results in situations they describe as impossible. Through dialogue that allows her to “get inside” her client’s world, her clients find the unexamined boundaries of their thinking that can limit results.
Her passion for cultures and languages, and for working with people in multi-lingual multi-cultural environments, makes her of particular value to global companies. Margot has worked in the United States, Ukraine, Russia, China, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Canada and Australia. She has lived in the United States, Great Britain, and Switzerland. For the last eleven years she has lived with husband on a mine site in Indonesia.
Margot holds an A.A. in music and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch University. In addition, she studied performance practice of the lute and early forms of the guitar for three years at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, Switzerland. She attributes the years she trained as a musician to her ability to listen to her clients and their needs.
When not on the road as a consultant Margot teaches music in a privately owned international school and has served for four years as the President of a nonprofit organization that helps provide education and medical treatment to impoverished children in Luwu Timur, Sulawesi.
